BACKGROUND:
On June 24, 2021, Ms. Deanne L. Brown submitted a Fair Housing Complaint to the Human Rights and Fair Housing Commission. The complaint was received by the Community Services Department and forwarded to Geneace Williams, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Manager in the City Manager’s Office.
In accordance with the Human Rights and Fair Housing Ordinance, staff is requesting that the Human Rights and Fair Housing Commission review the complaint and direct staff accordingly.
DISCUSSION:
Staff requests that the Human Rights and Fair Housing Commission direct staff to compile a summary of the complaint and pertinent details.
