BACKGROUND:
Naperville Jaycees Park is located north and east of the Naperville Municipal Center. It is located on City property and is maintained by the City of Naperville. The park is also within the boundaries of the Naperville Riverwalk.
DISCUSSION:
Naperville Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride organizer, Sven Davies, has proposed a new concept for 2027 that involves live music in the Naperville Jaycees Park, next to the Municipal Center. The event is anticipated to take place on May 16, 2027 and necessary permits and approvals will be obtained from the City. Because the park is located within the geographic limits of the Riverwalk, the City’s Special Events Coordinator referred this request to the Riverwalk Commission for approval. Please consider a motion to approve this request.
