BACKGROUND:

At the May 19^th meeting, the City Council awarded the construction contract for the NCC Riverwalk Park to Baumgartner Construction, Inc. for an amount not to exceed $2,049,192.32.  Construction on the site commenced on Wednesday, May 27^th.  The contract completion date is October 30, 2026.

DISCUSSION:

Construction tasks that have been initiated to date include perimeter fencing, tree removal, erosion control, cofferdam installation, and excavation.  See attached photos.
