BACKGROUND:
At the January meeting, two Commissioners volunteered to review the SECA mission statement with staff. At the March meeting, Commissioners received mission statement samples for review. At the April meeting, the Commission identified a new SECA mission statement. Further confirmation is requested by staff before submitting the new SECA mission statement to City Council.

New SECA Mission Statement
Our mission is to support meaningful shared experiences that invite participation, reflect Naperville’s evolving character, and cultivate belonging and celebration for residents and visitors alike.
