BACKGROUND:
In February 2024, the Water Utilities issued Bid 24-061, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Maintenance Services, to contract with a firm for maintenance and troubleshooting services on the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system, which remotely monitors and operates the City's water supply, stormwater pumping and wastewater facilities. Work under this contract includes scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of remote terminal units, Human Machine Interface (HMI), Variable Frequency Drive (VFDs) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) equipment at the Springbrook Water Reclamation Center and equipment located throughout the City's water supply, water distribution, stormwater pumping and sanitary sewer collection systems.
