BACKGROUND:
Naperville Jaycee Park is located north and east of the Naperville Municipal Center. It is located on City property and is maintained by the City of Naperville. The park is also within the boundaries of the Naperville Riverwalk.
DISCUSSION:
Marquette Companies/Water Street is hosting a local Fine Arts and Fine Crafts Fair on Water Street on July 14, 2024, from 10 AM until 5 PM. The organizers believe they will have more vendors than space on Water Street and are requesting permission to utilize Naperville Jaycees Park for vendors that day. The vendors would arrive and start setting up as early as 6:30 AM and should be loaded up and gone by 7:30 PM.
The organizers are coordinating with the Naperville Art League and obtaining all necessary permits and approvals from the City. Because Naperville Jaycee Park is located within the geographic limits of the Riverwalk, I noted that they should seek approval from the Naperville Riverwalk Commission.
