BACKGROUND:
On February 4, 2020, the City Council awarded Contract 20-064, Trackless MT7 Leaf Loader, to EJ Equipment for the purchase of a new trackless leaf loader unit to add to the City’s fleet for annual leaf collection services.
DISCUSSION:
After the award, the Department of Public Works - Fleet Services was informed that the purchase order for the trackless unit had to be made directly to the equipment manufacturer, Trackless Vehicles Ltd, not the local sole source dealer, EJ Equipment.
This change order is requested to modify the cooperative procurement award to Trackless Vehicles Ltd.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This change order only changes the vendor name and does not affect the approved award amount of $182,778.45.
