BACKGROUND:
Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church will host Homecoming Fest for parishioners and families on Saturday, August 28, 2021. The event will take place from noon-10:00 p.m. on church and school property.
DISCUSSION:
Homecoming Fest is a celebration of the 175th anniversary of the Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. The event is for students and families, parish members, the Naperville community and will features games, music, food, beer and wine, attractions, and inflatables.
Based on expected attendance, an officer is not required to be on site.
The street closures for the event are depicted on the attached map. An ordinance is required to amend the Naperville Traffic Schedule beginning at 11:30 a.m. on August 28. The event streets will be reopened to vehicular traffic at approximately 11:30 p.m. or as determined by the Naperville Police Department based on public safety.
All insurance requirements will be fulfilled prior to the issuance of a Special Event Permit.
