BACKGROUND:
The United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires a public hearing prior to submission of a Substantial Amendment to a Community Development Block Grant Annual Action Plan.
DISCUSSION:
An expedited five-day public comment period and public hearing are required in advance of formal submission of a Substantial Amendment to a Community Development Block Grant Annual Action Plan. The Substantial Amendment to the Program Year 2019 Annual Action Plan was made available to the public for review and comment beginning on October 16, 2020. Comments will be accepted through October 20, 2020 with a public hearing being held at the City Council meeting on October 20, 2020. To date, no comments have been received.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Change of scope of work for Little Friends, Inc. and Turning Pointe Autism Foundation projects due to COVID-19 totaling $107,075.
