BACKGROUND:                       On April 28, 2017, Naperville Police Officer Roger Otto was injured while on duty.  Otto sought medical treatment but was unable to return to work as a police officer.  Otto was awarded a disability pension on March 18, 2020.

DISCUSSION:    The City and Otto have agreed to resolve his workers’ compensation claim for a one-time payment of $145,346.25.
