BACKGROUND:
On October 16, 2017, police officer Roy Moore injured his knees while on duty when he was kicked while making an arrest.
DISCUSSION:
The City and Moore have agreed to a $59,298 settlement to resolve his workers’ compensation claim, contingent upon City Council approval.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The City will make a payment of $59,298 as set forth in the settlement agreement.
