BOARD/COMMISSION REVIEW:
On June 6, 2019, the Transportation Advisory Board recommended approval of the code update establishing the new traffic signal at Mill Street and Commons Road and rescinding the stop controls at this intersection (approved 8-0).

BACKGROUND:

City Council awarded a construction contract to install a new traffic signal at the intersection of Mill Street and Commons Road in July 2018. The intersection met vehicular volume traffic signal warrants.

DISCUSSION:

The new traffic signal at the intersection of Mill Street and Commons Road was activated on April 16, 2019. Existing stop controls were removed at that time. The attached ordinance updates the traffic schedule of the Municipal Code with these revisions

FISCAL IMPACT:

None.
