BOARD/COMMISSION REVIEW:
On April 4, 2019, the Transportation Advisory Board recommended approval of the code update establishing the new traffic signal at 95th Street and Knoch Knolls and rescinding the stop controls at this intersection (approved 6-0).

BACKGROUND:

The City Council awarded a construction contract to install a new traffic signal at the intersection of 95th Street and Knoch Knolls Road in June 2018.  The intersection met vehicular volume and crash history traffic signal warrants.

DISCUSSION:

The new traffic signal at the intersection of 95th Street and Knoch Knolls Road was activated on March 22, 2019.  Existing stop controls were removed at that time.  The attached ordinance updates the traffic schedule of the Municipal Code with these revisions.

FISCAL IMPACT:

None.
