At the April 29, 2019 SECA Grant Fund Comprehensive Workshop, the City Council concurred with the SECA Commission recommendation to create sub-categories for the Cultural Amenities fund category. Included in the sub-categories will be a new Annual Call for Projects initiative.
The new Annual Call for Projects initiative will be modeled after the current Social Services Grant “set-aside” methodology which surveys the Council on the annual target area. Applicants responding to the Call must meet the same eligibility and reporting requirements as all other grant recipients. Unallocated funds in this, and other sub-categories, will be made available to other SECA Grant Fund areas.
