Finalize CY20 Cultural Amenities sub-category funding percentages

At the April 29, 2019 SECA Grant Fund Comprehensive Workshop, the City Council concurred with the SECA Commission recommendation to divide the CY20 discretionary funding and allocate 50% to Special Events awards and 50% to Cultural Amenities awards. Council further concurred with the Commission to create sub-categories for the Cultural Amenities fund category. The intent of the sub-categories is to further detail targeted funding topics and increase the number of applications in these areas.
The approved Cultural Amenities sub-categories are as follows:
• Capital projects/Permanent structures
• Visual arts/Temporary structures
• Performing arts
• New initiatives
• Theme - Annual Call for Projects
