ACTION REQUESTED:
title

Recommend approval to rescind stop control and establish a traffic-control signal intersection at Mill Street and Commons Road

body

DEPARTMENT:                     Transportation, Engineering and Development

SUBMITTED BY:                     Andy Hynes, Deputy City Engineer

BACKGROUND:

City Council awarded a construction contract to install a new traffic signal at the intersection of Mill Street and Commons Road in July 2018. The intersection met vehicular volume traffic signal warrants.

DISCUSSION:

The new traffic signal at the intersection of Mill Street and Commons Road was activated on April 16, 2019. Existing stop controls were removed at that time. The attached ordinance updates the traffic schedule of the Municipal Code with these revisions.
