BACKGROUND:
On January 27, 2014, Firefighter / Paramedic James Streu was diagnosed with a work-related occupational injury. Streu has been returned to work without restrictions.
DISCUSSION:
The City and Streu have agreed to a $68,442.42 settlement to resolve his workers’ compensation claim, contingent upon City Council approval.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The City will make a payment of $68,442.42 as set forth in the Settlement Contract.
