BACKGROUND:
The United Stated Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires a public hearing prior to approval of a Community Development Block Grant Annual Action Plan.
DISCUSSION:
A 30-day public comment period is provided in advance of formal adoption of the Annual Action Plan. The Program Year 2019 Annual Action Plan was made available to the public for review and comment beginning on March 18, 2019. Comments will be accepted through April 16, 2019 with formal approval by the City Council following the public hearing on April 16, 2019. To date, no comments have been received.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Allocation of an estimated $637,898 in Community Development Block Grant funds.
