BACKGROUND:
The United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires a public hearing prior to approval of a Substantial Amendment to a Community Development Block Grant Annual Action Plan.
DISCUSSION:
A 30-day public comment period is provided in advance of formal adoption of the Substantial Amendment. Substantial Amendment 1 to the Program Year 2018 Annual Action Plan was made available to the public for review and comment beginning on March 5, 2019. Comments will be accepted through April 3, 2019 with formal approval by the City Council on April 3, 2019. To date, no comments have been received.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Reallocation of $92,667 in CDBG funds.
