BACKGROUND:
Pursuant to 5/8-2-9.9 of the Illinois Compiled Statutes a public hearing must be conducted before the adoption of a budget. The tentative annual budget has been made available for public inspection on the City’s Website, the City Clerk’s Office and each branch of the Naperville Public Library not less than ten (10) days prior to the December 4, 2018 City Council meeting at which a public hearing with respect to the budget will be held and the annual budget may be passed. Notice of Public Hearing for the Proposed 2019 Annual Operating Budget must be published in the newspaper. The Notice of Public Hearing for the Proposed Annual Operating Budget will be published in the Naperville Sun at least ten (10) days prior to holding the hearing. The anticipated adoption date for the 2019 Annual Operating budget is December 4, 2018.
