body

DEPARTMENT:                     Fire Department

SUBMITTED BY:                     Ruthi Sommers, Customer Service Assistant

The fire department is being recognized by the American Heart Association for demonstrating continued success in using the Mission Lifeline-EMS Program and for applying the most up-to-date, evidence-based, treatment guidelines to improve patient care and outcomes. The program is designed to showcase emergency medical service organizations across the nation for excellent STEMI (ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction) care. The Naperville Fire Department is one of only fifteen agencies in Illinois to receive this designation in 2018.

Art Miller of the American Heart Association will present to representatives of the fire department.
