BACKGROUND:

Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church will host its Annual School Fun Fair for parishioners and families on Friday, September 28, 2018.  The Fun Fair will take place from 4:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. on church and school property.

DISCUSSION:

The School Fun Fair is an annual fundraising event including students and their families, parish members, and the community that features games, attractions, raffles, and food.

The event organizer will use the church’s barricades and, based on expected attendance, an officer is not required to be present.

The street closures for the event are depicted on the attached map. An ordinance is required to amend the Naperville Traffic Schedule beginning at 3:30 p.m. The event streets will be reopened to vehicular traffic at approximately 10:30 p.m. or as determined by the Naperville Police Department based on public safety.

All insurance requirements will be fulfilled prior to the issuance of a Special Event Permit.
