BACKGROUND:
Supporting the City's goal of High Performing Government to provide reliable, efficient and high-quality services to the community, in June 2018, the City issued Bid 18-137, Northwest Pump Station Odor Control, seeking a qualified vendor to replace the existing odor control system at the Northwest Wastewater Pump Station. The existing odor control system is at the end of service life and is no longer able to fully mitigate the odors from the pump station. The proposed odor control system is more efficient in alleviating hydrogen sulfide gasses (rotten egg smells) and other odors and reduces the accumulation of fats, oils and grease (FOG), as well as decreases the growth of biofilm and bacteria.
