BACKGROUND:

The Water Utilities issued Bid 17-138 seeking a qualified vendor to replace the existing odor control system at the North Wastewater Pump Station. The existing odor control system is at the end of service life and is not able to fully mitigate the odors from the pump station. The proposed odor control system is a more efficient in alleviating hydrogen sulfide gasses (rotten egg smells) and other odors, reduces the accumulation of fats, oils and grease (FOG), as well as decreases the growth of biofilm and bacteria.
