Approve the 2026 Transportation Advisory Board meeting schedule

BACKGROUND:
Transportation Advisory Board (TAB) meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. Each year a meeting schedule is established, and the dates are included in the City of Naperville’s meeting calendar.
DISCUSSION:
The 11 proposed 2026 TAB meeting dates are:
• February 5, 2026
• March 5, 2026
• April 2, 2026
• May 7, 2026
• June 4, 2026
• July 2, 2026
• August 6, 2026
• September 3, 2026
• October 1, 2026
• November 5, 2026
• December 3, 2026
Please note that no January meeting is being proposed due to the proximity to the New Year.
TAB meetings are scheduled monthly, except when in conflict with holidays. As the volume of agenda items varies throughout the year, staff will cancel scheduled meetings when there are no matters needing immediate TAB action. Over the past ten years, the number of annual TAB meetings has ranged from five to nine with an average of just over six.
