BACKGROUND:
On December 4, 2108, Firefighter Lawrence Ehrhart suffered an injury while at work. Ehrhart was treated for the injury and did not return to full duty work with the Fire Department.
DISCUSSION:
Ehrhart filed a workers’ compensation claim for his injury. As a resolution to his claim, Ehrhart and the City have agreed to a one-time payment of $152,600.62.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The City will make a one-time payment to Ehrhart in the amount of $152,600.62 upon approval of the settlement contract.
