BACKGROUND:

During the Asset Management Plan (AMP) Walk earlier this year, the group discussed the three banner poles along Eagle Street.  The nearby maple tree continues to grow into one of the poles, and the other sits very close to the  Plow statue.

DISCUSSION:

As part of the discussion on the AMP Walk follow items at the December 2, 2025 Riverwalk Planning, Design and Construction (PDC) Committee meeting, the Committee agreed with Tiffani Picco’s recommendation that two of these poles should be removed and utilized in the South Extension.  The one remaining pole would be similar to what is currently located along Aurora Avenue and Jefferson Avenue.
