BOARD/COMMISSION REVIEW:
The Planning and Zoning Commission (PZC) considered this matter on July 15, 2026, and voted to recommend approval of the petitioner's request (approved 8-0). Staff concurs.

The petitioner requests a variance to locate the 8-foot fence in the front yard and, in conjunction with the request, is required to amend the existing conditional use.
In April of 2026, a building permit was approved for a new generator for the operations facility. The petitioner was granted an administrative Temporary Use pursuant to Municipal Code 6-2-11 to permit the fence to be installed concurrent with the installation of the generator. The Temporary Use expires in October 2026; upon approval of the requested variance, the temporary use is no longer required.
