BACKGROUND:
In the past state and federal elected officials have inquired about upcoming City capital projects so that they can assist in finding outside funding for us. Instead of being in a reactive mode the City has reviewed our capital improvement plan and prepared one-page flyers that can be provided to those asking about our projects.
DISCUSSION:
City staff prepared funding request sheets for a wide variety of projects ranging in value from less than fifty thousand dollars to tens of millions of dollars. Attached are funding requests prepared for various projects included in the Naperville Riverwalk 2031 Master Plan. Some of these projects already have financial commitments for a portion of the construction costs. The dollar values indicated on the flyer are for the remaining unfunded portions of those costs.
These are being shared with the members of the Riverwalk Commission for their information only. No action is needed on this item.
