BACKGROUND:
At the January 14, 2026 Riverwalk Commission meeting, a motion was approved to order a plaque for the front of the Mr. and Mrs. Naperville statue near the base of the Millennium Carillon to honor Harold and Margaret Moser. The Riverwalk Foundation has offered to pay for the plaque.
DISCUSSION:
The front face of the concrete base of the statue measures 9” tall by 48” wide. The Park District’s plaque contact suggested a 5” tall plaque for this front face, leaving 2” on top and bottom once the plaque is secured to the face of the concrete. Two options are included, the first measures 10” wide, the second measures 18” wide and features larger letters. The cost of each is included above the photo with the dimensions. Please provide feedback on the attached options.
