BOARD/COMMISSION REVIEW:
NA

BACKGROUND:

At the August Planning, Design, and Construction (PDC) committee meeting we reviewed the initial detailed plans for the South Extension.  Discussion and concerns were noted about the existing tree line along the river, the impacts of the proposed lights on the houses across the river and the proposed treatment of the riverbank.

Engineering Resource Associates was tasked with looking at these items in greater detail and returning to the PDC with an update.

DISCUSSION:

Attached are the following materials:

1.                     Agenda to follow during the discussion

2.                     Colored plan of the South Extension with cross sections at the river

3.                     Uncolored plan of the South Extension with cross sections at the river

4.                     Cross section of the Martin Avenue entrance at the river

Engineering Resource Associates will provide an overview of each item and then members are encouraged to provide their thoughts.
