BACKGROUND:
Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church will host the 2nd Annual Homecoming Fest for parishioners and families on Saturday, August 27, 2022. The event will take place from 1:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. on church and school property.
DISCUSSION:
Homecoming Fest is a celebration of the anniversary of the Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church and is for students and families, parish members, and the Naperville community. It will feature games, music, food, beer and wine, and inflatables.
Due to the location, estimated attendance, and site layout, dedicated public safety personnel will not be assigned to the event. Rather, the officer assigned to the Downtown will provide periodic checks.
The street closures for the event are depicted on the attached map. An ordinance is required to amend the Naperville Traffic Schedule beginning at 11:30 a.m. on August 27. The event streets will be reopened to vehicular traffic at approximately 11:30 p.m. or as determined by the Naperville Police Department based on public safety.
All insurance requirements will be fulfilled prior to the issuance of a Special Event Permit.
