BACKGROUND:
On December 2, 2020, Police Officer Kate Koziol Lindgren suffered a work injury while on duty. Koziol Lindgren has been treating for her work injury and has not been able to return to full duty work as a police officer. Her application for the disability pension was approved on August 5, 2026.
DISCUSSION:
The City and Koziol Lindgren have agreed to resolve her workers’ compensation matter for a one-time payment of $196,139.25.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The City will make a one-time payment of $196,139.25 to Koziol Lindgren.
