Discuss ideas to bring awareness to our Sister City in Nitra, Slovakia

Commissioners Chamberlain and Saboo have some general ideas to educate our community about the culture and traditions of Nitra.
Commissioners ask that City Staff forward Sister City news and events to Commissioners when it becomes available.
Collaborate with schools and the library on an educational program for interested students to research Nitra and present at a local library.
Partner with the Naperville Municipal Band to have music exchanges that reflect the Slovakian cultural heritage.
Sponsor a Slovakian dinner to teach the community about traditional Slovakian dishes.
