The location of the Monarch Garden has been identified in Knoch Knolls Park. Commissioner See continues to coordinate with the Park District on plans to plant the garden in spring 2026. The Sister Cities Foundation has requested funds from SECA for plant materials. The City will fabricate the signage for the site, sharing the stories of conservation, the monarch butterfly, and the sister cities relationships. A student working on the monarch garden project will be attending the meeting to provide an update.
