1.                     Commissioner See will present the monarch butterfly's life cycle and its connection to the Sister City of Patzcuaro.

2.                     Introduce the plan to create garden waystations around Naperville as a project for the Sister Cities Commission.

3.                     Review and organize the project into the following ad hoc subcommittees: a. Scientific and Research: Engage local and national groups to gather information on similar projects. Develop a planting strategy with science-based recommendations from botany programs or the Chicago Botanic Garden. b. City Planning: Coordinate with the Naperville Park District and other land management offices (government, schools, libraries, private lands) to discuss potential sites. c. Fundraising and Outreach: Brainstorm fundraising ideas and programs to promote the project and groundbreaking ceremony.

4.                     Propose recruiting high school or college interns to assist with various project stages. This will help with workload distribution, community involvement, and provide professional development for volunteers.
