BOARD/COMMISSION REVIEW:
On September 4, 2025, the Transportation Advisory Board (TAB) approved a recommendation to establish no parking, stopping, or standing on Brooksedge Avenue. Approved (7-0). Staff concurs.

BACKGROUND:

At the August 2025 Transportation Advisory Board (TAB) meeting, staff was directed to return with an ordinance to establish no parking, stopping, or standing on Brooksedge Avenue. Staff was contacted by a resident concerned about congestion caused by Fry Elementary school drop off and pick up. Staff found congestion severely impacted sight distance, limited access to mailboxes, and preventing mail delivery at 3503 Brooksedge Avenue.

DISCUSSION:

City staff made observations on several instances at this intersection and determined that the amount of congestion limits sight distance and mail delivery at the corner lot property. Staff recommends a no parking, stopping, or standing 85 feet from the centerline of Breitweiser Lane on the north side of Brooksedge Avenue.
