BACKGROUND:
The Council awarded Contract 24-136, Cascade Configuration Assessment and Upgrade, to DNV Energy Insights USA, with a completion date of December 31, 2024. The purpose of this contract is to provide consulting, configuration assessment and updates to the Cascade platform.
DISCUSSION:
This Change Order is requested to extend the contract term for an additional 60 days. The cost and work scope have not changed, but the project completion estimate of December 31, 2024, was not able to be met due to personnel scheduling issues.
The revised completion date is March 1, 2025.
FISCAL IMPACT:
CIP#: N/A
The requested Change Order is for an extension of time only and does not increase the contract value. To date, $79,309.50 has been invoiced and paid, leaving $40,885.50 outstanding to complete the project under the original $120,195.00 approved amount. The outstanding contract value can be accommodated within the Electric Utility’s 2025 budget.
