Receive the Project Update: Monarch Garden

The planting bed for the Monarch Garden, located at the northwest corner of the bicycle bridge at Knoch Knolls Park, has been prepared for planting. Next steps include selecting a planting date, identifying volunteers and experienced gardeners to assist with planting, and ordering the plants. Additional updates, as available, will be provided at the meeting.
The Monarch Garden signage is in final review with the Naperville Park District. The signage includes information about Sister Cities partnerships, the Monarch migration and Mexican reserve, and a QR code that links to the City’s Sister Cities page. Acknowledgments include the Naperville Park District, Sister Cities Foundation, Sister Cities Commission, SECA, City of Naperville and Conservation Foundation. The signpost has been installed, and signage should be installed by the end of June.
