BACKGROUND:

In collaboration with the DuPage County Stormwater Department the Naperville Park District has been pursuing water quality improvement projects.  As we have discussed over the last several years many have observed streambank erosion along the Riverwalk.

The Park District Planning Team hired Engineering Resource Associates in the summer of 2023 to begin the process to design and permit streambank stabilization improvements that could be constructed.

DISCUSSION:

Attached is a narrative from the Naperville Park District and the plans for the improvements.  Park District staff plans to attend the meeting to talk about what is planned.  Members are encouraged to provide feedback and input.
