BACKGROUND:

At the August Riverwalk Commission meeting, there was discussion about the location of Shepherd’s Crook pedestrian light poles along various streets within the downtown area.

DISCUSSION:

Staff identified the location of Shepherd’s Crook light poles currently within the public right of way on downtown streets.  The attached map identifies each downtown street frontage with either Shepherd’s Crook light poles or the acorn style light poles (current Downtown Streetscape standard).  Approximately 99 Shepherd’s Crook light poles were counted in these areas.

Note that the map does not include the location of Shepherd’s Crook light poles located along the Riverwalk.
