BACKGROUND:
The Riverwalk 2031 Fund was formed as a 501c3 foundation with the purpose of fund-raising specifically for projects included in the Naperville Riverwalk 2031 Master Plan. The Riverwalk 2031 Fund is separate and has different purposes than the Naperville Riverwalk Foundation.
In anticipation of donations that will be made to the Riverwalk 2031 Fund members of the Fund have drafted the attached Donor Recognition Policy. The policy was presented to the Riverwalk Commission at the May 8 meeting. No substantive comments were made at the meeting.
DISCUSSION:
Riverwalk Commission members are encouraged to provide any feedback and comments. The Commission may then consider a motion to approve the Donor Recognition Policy for the Riverwalk 2031 Fund.
