Presentation of two Fire Chief’s Awards to Naperville Police Department Officers Frank Tonkovich and James Kotowski.
Officers Tonkovich and Kotowski used fire extinguishers to put out a vehicle engine fire that resulted from a rollover accident with a victim trapped inside.
This action kept the patient safe long enough for firefighters to pull a line and extinguish the remaining fire.
