BACKGROUND:
The City Manager awarded Contract 22-315 to Rush Truck Centers of Illinois, Inc. on October 11, 2022, for a 15-month term from January 1, 2023, to March 31, 2024. The purpose of this contract is to procure Navistar OEM parts required to maintain and repair City fleet vehicle assets.
This contract is a cooperative procurement using the State of Illinois published bid for OEM Navistar parts. The state awarded Purchase Order #20-416CMS-BOSS4-P-17193 to Rush Truck Centers of Illinois, Inc. effective October 7, 2020, through March 31, 2024.
The State of Illinois awarded a change order to extend the term of the contract through June 30, 2024.
DISCUSSION:
This Change Order is requested to extend the term through June 30, 2024, to match the term of the State of Illinois award.
The State of Illinois has published a new bid for Navistar OEM parts that is currently under review with an anticipated award date of July 1, 2024. Staff will seek a new contract when that is awarded.
No additional funds are needed to accommodate this extension.
The term of this extension is from April 1, 2024 through June 30, 2024.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact associated with this Change Order, it is an extension of time only and does not add to the dollar value of the contract.
