In October 2022, the DPW-PBO issued Bid 22-306, Municipal Center Entry Door Replacement, to replace the sliding entry doors at the municipal center because of age, parts obsolescence and the frequent need for maintenance and repairs due to high volume use and weather conditions.

Staff contacted the plan holders that did not provide a bid and found that they were either non-responsive or did not have the expertise with this type of pedestrian doorways.  Allied Door, Inc is an existing vendor with the City and has performed well.  Staff feels that the pricing is in line with current market pricing and recommends awarding the contract to Allied Door, Inc.
