DISCUSSION:

The units listed above are used daily by the Police Department - Patrol Division for routine patrol and emergency response throughout Naperville. The retired vehicles will be sold through the City’s auction service provider. The units will be replaced with 2025 Ford Police Utility Interceptor hybrid SUVs, and unit 152 will be replaced with a 2025 Ford F150 Police Responder pickup truck; all specified identically to maintain fleet and operational conformity.

The new vehicles are available on the SPC Cooperative, an approved cooperative through Currie Motors Fleet, Contract #204 and Contract #228. Using the City’s specifications, Currie Motors has quoted the 2025 Ford Police Utility Interceptor Hybrid in the amount of $49,870 per unit, totaling $199,480 for four units. Currie Motors has quoted the F150 Police Responder Pickup Truck in the amount of $48,611.

The new units are expected to be delivered within eight months of the date of award.
