Sister Cities Foundation held a meeting in February. Commissioner Kar will provide the commission with an update on topics of discussion as they relate to the Commission.
• Reestablishing a Student Exchange Program between Naperville Schools and Nitra
• Hispanic Festival is being held on Saturday, September 13, 2025
• The Foundation discussed the initiatives and projects being proposed by the Commission and is asking for projected costs so that they may begin planning
• Community Garden to highlight that Monarch butterflies migrate annually from our Sister City, Patzcuaro, Mexico to Naperville. The migration spans three generations of Monarchs originating from Patzcuaro.
